Osvaldo Gutierrez, M.D.

Family Medicine

A Lindsay native and graduate of Lindsay High School, Osvaldo Gutierrez, M.D., has returned to his roots to provide compassionate medical care to the community where his journey began. As an Internal Medicine physician at Living Water Clinic, Dr. Gutierrez is dedicated to serving the rural families and agricultural workers of Tulare County with a deeply personal understanding of the region’s unique needs.

Dr. Gutierrez’s educational path reflects a strong commitment to Central Valley institutions. He earned his Associate of Science from Porterville College and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from UC Merced. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. Completing his full-circle journey, he performed his Internal Medicine residency at Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, where he gained extensive experience caring for patients in both complex inpatient hospital settings and outpatient clinics.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Gutierrez specializes in Internal Medicine, focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. His philosophy of care is centered on closing the “knowledge gap” in healthcare.

He believes that effective medicine requires more than just a prescription; it requires a partnership built on trust and education. By explaining conditions and treatments in simple, clear terms, he ensures his patients are active participants in their own wellness journeys.

“I do not just want patients to take a prescription,” Dr. Gutierrez says. “I want them to understand why they are taking it and feel like we are working together as a team.” This patient-centered approach allows him to manage chronic conditions—such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular health—with a focus on long-term success and lifestyle integration.

Dr. Gutierrez is fluent in English and Spanish. He is proud to serve the Lindsay and Porterville communities, offering a bridge of communication and cultural connection to the hardworking individuals and families of the valley.
