Martha (Martie) Guzman, DNP, FNP-C, is a highly accomplished Doctor of Nursing Practice and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Living Water Clinic – Clinica Agua Viva. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field, Dr. Guzman brings a wealth of clinical wisdom and academic excellence to the patients she serves throughout the Central Valley.

Dr. Guzman’s extensive educational background reflects her commitment to the highest standards of nursing practice. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Fresno Pacific University, where she was recognized for her academic achievements as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Building upon her clinical foundation, she recently achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from California State University, Fresno, the highest level of clinical education in the nursing profession.

Throughout her three decades in healthcare, Dr. Guzman has developed a versatile skill set that allows her to manage a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions. She is dually certified by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), ensuring her patients receive evidence-based care that meets the most rigorous national standards. As a Public Health Nurse (PHN), she also maintains a strong focus on community wellness and preventive medicine.

Dr. Guzman’s philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that advanced clinical knowledge must be paired with genuine compassion. She strives to empower her patients through education and collaborative decision-making, helping them achieve their health goals at every stage of life. She is a proud member of the Living Water Clinic team, where she continues her mission of providing dignified and comprehensive medical services to all.

Dr. Guzman is fluent in English. Outside of her professional practice, she remains a lifelong learner and a dedicated advocate for the advancement of nursing and community health in the region.
