Originally from Springville, California, Brianna Edwards, FNP-C, is a highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients across Visalia, Porterville, and the surrounding communities.

A graduate of Porterville High School and Porterville College, Ms. Edwards provides comprehensive medical care at Living Water Clinic, utilizing an extensive background in emergency and critical care to serve her local community with precision and expertise.

Ms. Edwards began her healthcare career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 2004, gaining foundational experience within the California State Prison system and the Sierra View Emergency Room.

She later earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia before obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University.

She concluded her formal education at Walden University, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

With years of experience in the emergency departments of Sierra View and Kaweah Health, Ms. Edwards has cultivated significant expertise in treating patients of all ages facing complex illnesses, trauma, and critical injuries.

This background in high-pressure environments has equipped her with the ability to remain calm and effective in emergent situations, a skill set she integrates into her daily practice. Her diverse clinical history also includes serving underserved populations in rural health clinics and providing specialized care in pediatric settings.

Ms. Edwards’ clinical practice encompasses family medicine for all ages, the management of acute and chronic illnesses, and specialized care for the special needs population. She is also highly experienced in women’s health, weight management, and hospice/palliative care. Her philosophy is rooted in a lifelong commitment to service, which she continues to demonstrate by dedicating her personal time to hospice care throughout the region.

Ms. Edwards remains a local resident, living in the area with her son, Samuel.
