THE OPPORTUNITY

An established foundation.
A department you can help shape.

Living Water Clinic is expanding its women’s health team, with capacity to welcome two (2) to four (4) full-time OB/GYN physicians over the next 18 to 24 months. Our vision includes certified nurse-midwife support and future physician assistant integration.

The immediate opportunity includes succeeding our current OB/GYN, who is transitioning to a reduced practice schedule. An incoming physician will have the opportunity to build on their experience and qualifications while developing strong relationships within the local communities, supported by existing hospital relationships and a functioning clinical workflow. Hospital privileges are subject to individual credentialing and approval.

Our Rural Health Clinics serve historically underserved agricultural communities, while our private and PPO-participating clinics provide opportunities to work with a broader payer mix.

For physicians interested in teaching, our vision includes a family medicine residency program with women’s health as a core rotation. The first class is targeted for fall 2027, subject to accreditation and program readiness.

PRACTICE STRUCTURE & SUPPORT

Build a sustainable
long-term practice.

01

Thoughtful call coverage

Call responsibilities will reflect team size at the time of hire and may include collaboration with community OB/GYN groups. Our goal is sustainable coverage with meaningful recovery time.

02

Team-based care

Collaborate with CNMs and primary care, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy teams. Physician assistant integration is planned; resident participation depends on the future residency program.

03

Scheduling flexibility

A four- to five-day workweek is negotiable. Part-time and hybrid arrangements will be considered for experienced physicians. Post-call recovery arrangements will be addressed as part of the coverage model.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Explore the details
that matter to you.

Loan repayment and service programs

Ask our recruitment team about potential loan repayment and service-based programs for your role and proposed practice site. HPSA designation alone does not establish eligibility. Participation depends on current program rules, site approval, employer eligibility, funding, and individual qualifications. Specific programs and award amounts should be confirmed before relying on them as part of a compensation decision.

Visa sponsorship

Living Water Clinic is willing to explore sponsorship for qualifying international physicians, including potential J-1 visa waiver placements through California’s Conrad 30 program. Availability depends on applicable program requirements and approval.

Teaching and leadership

Help shape a growing women’s health department and discuss potential leadership responsibilities. Future teaching opportunities are tied to a planned family medicine residency targeting its first class in fall 2027, subject to accreditation and program readiness.
